It is important that you and your partner are comfortable at the place of delivery.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-90d8cab elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"90d8cab\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">1. giving birth at home<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1eaa25c elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1eaa25c\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIf you want to give birth at home, we want it to be done safely. Therefore, we ask that you adhere to the conditions below:<br><br>\n<ul>\n<li>you are signed up with a maternity care agency so that a maternity nurse can come during labor to assist us.<\/li>\n<li>you have a maternity package in your home (you usually get this from your insurance company in the 8th month of your pregnancy).<\/li>\n<li>your bed is in an easily accessible place. By this we mean that you can be moved out of the house with a stretcher in case of an emergency (i.e., you don&#8217;t have to go up or down narrow and\/or winding stairs). When in doubt: ask your midwife!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4d6d91f elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"4d6d91f\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h4 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">2. giving birth in a hospital<\/h4>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-c3bebdb elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"c3bebdb\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>If you want to give birth in a hospital, without medical indication, we call it outpatient birth. You more or less rent a delivery room from the hospital. Your own midwife will supervise the delivery in the hospital along with a maternity nurse or nurse practitioner.<\/p>\n<p>We attend outpatient deliveries at the following hospitals: Tergooi Hospital Blaricum and all hospitals in Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of your delivery, we will call your preferred hospital and ask if they have space.
